Freixenet triumphs with its Cavas and wines at CINVE competition

Three Freixenet wines have been awarded medals at the prestigious International Wine and Spirits Contest – CINVE 2021, held in Cáceres, Spain. Freixenet Elyssia Pinot Noir has been recognized with a gold medal while Freixenet Elyssia Gran Cuvée has obtained a silver medal in the sparkling wine category. For its part, Freixenet Selección Especial Rosé, launched this year in Spain, has been awarded a gold medal in the category of still wines. These are recognitions that once again demonstrate the quality and success of Freixenet products.
Freixenet Elyssia Pinot Noir is awarded again after recently obtaining important recognitions at Bacchus International Wine Competition, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and Mundus Vini. It is a Cava with a bright raspberry pink color of medium intensity and abundant bubbles.This sparkling wine stands out for being very fruity with intense aromas of red fruits (ripe raspberry, currants and cherry), ripe fruit and compotes.
For its part, Freixenet Elyssia Gran Cuvée is a modern and sweet brut designed for lovers of the Chardonnay variety that has given pleasant aromas of acacia flower and honey on an elegant background of ripe fruits. Elyssia Gran Cuvée is recognized once again after being recently awarded medals at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Effervescents du Monde and Bacchus International Wine Competition.
Finally, the new Freixenet Selección Especial Rosé is an aromatic and elegant wine and is bathed in the Mediterranean sun. It is a pale pink wine in which the Garnatxa grape predominates, with hints of Merlot and Tempranillo from DO Catalunya. It is a fresh wine, with a subtle aroma of berries and which offers a sensation of summer fruits in the mouth.
The CINVE awards are a prestigious international competition for wines and spirits. Its jury is made up of a wide panel of experts and professionals from the wine and Cava sector, rewarding the quality, internationality, novelty, variety and experience of the products presented in the competition.
