The Gloria Ferrer wineries are located in the Carneros wine region in Sonoma County, California, in a wonderful setting thanks to its Mediterranean climate and views of the Pacific Ocean. The area charmed José Ferrer in the early 1980s and he decided to send over the two characteristic champagne varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, along with the experience of Freixenet, to establish a new business named after his wife Gloria.
